Nuri Sahin- The Hope of an Entire Nation

(born 5 September 1988) is a German-born Turkish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund. He is regarded the greatest Turkish talent ever to although he was born & raised in Germany.

On 6 August 2005, at the age of 16 years and 335 days, Sahin set a record by becoming the youngest player to have played in the Bundesliga, and became the youngest player to score in the Bundesliga on 25 November 2005 scoring against Nuremberg. On 5 July 2007, Sahin was transferred to Feyenoord on a one-year loan agreement, where he was reunited with Bert van Marwijk, his former coach at Borussia Dortmund

He won the bronze ball prize at the 2005 U-17 World Cup in Peru after a successful tournament finishing in fourth place, and is also the youngest player to have played and scored for the Turkish national team, ironically scoring against Germany, the country of his birth.
